Environmental Technician II / Floor Tech

Cleans, maintains, and restores carpeted and hard flooring surfaces, using a variety of materials, cleaning agents, and equipment according to procedures.

Graduate Equivalent - GED 9 to 11 years of school - Preferred

• Experience

2-3 Years Scrubbing, polishing, stripping, and waxing floors of all types - Required

Performs all routine cleaning and periodic maintenance of hard surface floors and carpets.

• Maintains a high level of cleanliness in patient areas.
• Cleans and sanitizes assigned area according to standards. Collects and transports regular and regulated medical waste.
• Demonstrates the knowledge and skills to use floor care equipment.
• Be courteous to patients, co-workers and visitors.
