Job Description

We are conducting a confidential search on behalf of a respected international automotive manufacturer seeking a Process Engineer to join their innovative Kansas City facility. This is a career-defining opportunity to optimize , automate, and innovate within a highly technical and collaborative manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Optimize manufacturing processes with a focus on injection molding of plastics.
Troubleshoot and improve efficiency of automated systems and robotics on the production floor.
Analyze and refine process flows to reduce cost, waste, and production time.
Interface with engineering, maintenance, and quality teams to ensure robust production performance.
Lead initiatives involving PLC programming, robotics calibration, and mold tooling improvements.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Engineering or equivalent technical discipline.

3+ years of hands-on experience in process engineering in a manufacturing setting.

Deep expertise in injection molding of plastics.

Solid understanding of automotive manufacturing standards .

Familiarity with robotic systems and PLC programming (e.g., Allen Bradley, Siemens).
