About the Position

The Director, Project Management will report to the Vice President of Strategy, Planning, and Analytics with the core responsibility of leading project management for all critical tasks on major cross-functional initiatives as well as special projects designed to help NYRR reach its strategic objectives.

Job Responsibilities

Project Management Responsibilities :

• Lead project management of largest and most critical events and special initiatives; manage schedules, budgets, and overall project organization and ensure work is progressing as planned.
• Instill Project Management best practices at NYRR by further developing project templates, documentation, contingency planning, training materials, and implementation of new cloud-based work operating system.
• Actively monitor project risks and scope creep to identify potential problems / risks; and proactively identify solutions and lead team to address these issues.
• Effectively and efficiently plan and prioritize all deliverables and resources working across multiple projects and handling potential conflicts.
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to support project planning and strategy recommendations.
• Develop detailed project work plans and deliverables.
• Monitoring day-to-day activities and progress of project teams; ensuring flow of information among stakeholders; strategy / recommendations / contingency planning and analyses as required.
• Other projects and initiatives as assigned.
