Job Summary
We are seeking a Field Engineer to perform technical services for oil and gas operations. This role involves applying standard techniques and procedures for various products and services, troubleshooting technical issues, and serving as the key interface with clients at well sites. The position requires strong technical knowledge, excellent client relationship skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic field environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in daily operations and safety meetings, including toolbox talks and Job Hazard Analysis (JHA)
- Maintain equipment and work areas in safe, presentable conditions
- Monitor and analyze data to recommend optimal services and solutions
- Perform comprehensive job planning, tool preparation, mobilization, and execution
- Provide 24-hour availability to respond to customer needs
- Test, operate, and maintain tools according to established procedures
- Develop and maintain positive client relationships to ensure repeat business
- Follow up on equipment failures and contribute to Root Cause Analysis reports
- Perform engineering calculations and data interpretation as needed
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering2 - 5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industryKnowledge of mechanics, electricity, electronics, pneumatics, and / or hydraulicsStrong mathematical and basic physics / chemistry knowledgeComputer proficiencyCritical thinking and complex problem-solving abilitiesExcellent time management and decision-making skillsService-oriented mindset with strong quality control focusPhysical capability to perform required field tasksAdditional Information
