About the role :

The Senior Analyst, Regulatory is a contributor and owner of mission-critical workflows to maintain and operate the Independent Dispute Resolution process. In assigned jurisdictions, the Senior Analyst, Regulatory Affairs will intake disputes from providers, participate in negotiation with team support, and prepare arbitration briefing where needed, all while maintaining detailed documentation for tracking purposes. The Senior Analyst, Regulatory Affairs supports the Regulatory Affairs function in serving as an enterprise wide resource on public policy and IDR trends.

You will report into the Director, Regulatory Affairs.

Work Location : This position is based in our Tempe, AZ office, requiring a hybrid work schedule with 3 days of in-office work per week. Thursdays are a required in-office day for team meetings and events, while your other two office days are flexible to suit your schedule.

Pay Transparency : The base pay for this role is $69,120 - $90,720 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, participation in Oscar's unlimited vacation program and annual performance bonuses.

Responsibilities :

• Be the subject matter expert on assigned state and federal policy for provider dispute and IDR legislative matters, while applying newly proposed laws and regulations to processes in assigned jurisdictions.
• Support sustainable processes which simplify our growing team's outputs while ensuring high quality deliverables.
• Support the wider team and Regulatory Affairs Counsel with preparing concise, user-friendly briefing summaries and analyses based on case needs
• Manage projects with notable complexity with department possible effects, developing action plans and managing from start to completion.
• Provide IDR expertise to designated teams and work with internal legal counsel.
• Be the primary contact for provider negotiations relating to IDR.
• Perform related tasks as assigned by Director, Regulatory Operations.
• Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education, and experience.
