Responsibilities
Sell various types of insurance policies to individuals and businessesProspect through various sales channels (telephone, networking, referrals, other sources) to generate leads and opportunitiesAnswer Inbound and make outbound calls on leads to develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close salesUtilize telemarketing techniques to generate leads and follow up on prospectsFollow a proven sales process to build value and customize an insurance portfolio to suit individual clients' needs.Develop and maintain client relationships through excellent customer serviceExplain insurance policies, terms, and conditions to clientsMaintain a strong work ethic with a total commitment to success every dayStay informed about industry trends, regulations, and product updates to effectively advise clients and stay ahead of the competitionComplete Advance Sales TrainingMeet or exceed monthly sales targets and performance metrics set by the agency management.Requirement
Proven experience in outside / inside sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targetsMinimum 1 year experience in insurance or telemarketing sales is preferred. Previous Farmers, Allstate, or State Farm Insurance sales experience is a plusStrong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey information clearly and persuasivelyStrong sales and customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and to demonstrate empathy and responsiveness to client needsSelf-motivated with a proactive approach to sales and client relationship managementWorks well with coworkers and is a team player with a positive attitudeProficient in using CRM software and other sales tools for effective sales administrationProficient in Microsoft Programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, One Drive, Microsoft Teams)Active Texas General Lines Property & Casualty License is RequiredLife Insurance licensed is preferredWork hours Monday-Friday, 10am - 7pm CDTHYBRID REMOTE - Must live in the Austin, Texas Metro and able to commute to the local office
