Structural And Pipe Fitter

Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced Structural / Pipe Fitter to join our growing team.

You will primarily work with carbon and stainless steel , fabricating pipes and structural steel for certified tanks and pressure vessels used in water filtration and other high-pressure systems. Units can stand up to 13 feet , so comfort with heights is essential. You may also need to enter tanks—this role is not suitable for those with claustrophobia.

All pressure vessel fabricators must pass a fluxcore X-ray weld test and be capable of cutting their own metal. You will read blueprints, perform layouts, assemble, and fit structural steel components or pressure-containing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and fit pipes or structural steel for tanks and pressure vessels
• Work at heights up to 13 feet and enter tanks as needed
• Pass a fluxcore X-ray weld test
• Cut your own metal and read blueprints / drawings
• Perform layouts, assemble, and fit structural steel components

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jacksonville, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00 / hr.
