500°ree; Studio looking to add a Senior Designer to our creative team in our Columbus, Ohio office. As a Senior Designer, you will be responsible for the development and design of merchandising, marketing, and promotional communications in support of our big brand, industry-leading clients. The ideal candidate has experience collaborating with other teams, as you will partner closely with others on the creative team, including art directors and copywriters, to deliver work that aligns with client objectives and strategic direction. This specific Senior Designer opportunity at 500°ree; will require an advanced motion skillset due to the nature of the work they will be dedicated to.
What You'll Do :
- Develop creative ideas, concepts, campaigns, and insights that will drive consumers to react
- Create visually appealing and innovative design concepts / solutions to communicate the brand message across all platforms, including but not limited to video advertisements, print and digital campaign assets, social media graphics, email campaigns, packaging, and other promotional materials.
- Will work off of client creative briefs to come up with new design strategies / ideas or refresh the current when needed; Will also be expected to look beyond the brief when necessary to independently problem-solve
- Ensure brand consistency across all design deliverables, adhering to brand guidelines and maintaining agency quality standards
- Utilize best practice design techniques to transform conceptual ideas into polished designs; Including but not limited to :
Animation / motion design
Typography, color, shape, and layoutIllustrationWill manage multiple projects simultaneously often on extremely tight and changing timelinesCollaborate and communicate design concepts with internal creative team to build a culture of innovation, excellence, and accountabilityWork with cross-functional teams such as account service, production, and project management to ensure high-quality execution on creative deliverablesBe a strong partner and influencer of the creative processProvide guidance and mentorship to junior designers, fostering a positive and collaborative team environmentWhat You'll Need :
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field preferred; and / or equivalent work experience5+ years of professional design experienceMust have a portfolio of projects showcasing not only motion graphic capabilities but across traditional print and digital as wellKnowledge of the production process, including proofingExpert use of Adobe CS (After Effects, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)Experience creating presentations required (Keynote is a must-have or a must-learn)Must possess a mastery of motion, typography, illustration, color, shape, and designAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyExcellent communication and collaboration skills; You will need to clearly and effectively articulate design thinking and creative choicesAttention to detail, attention to detail & attention to detailKeen eye for aestheticsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlinesMust be able to work independently, with little supervisionPrior marketing / creative agency experience highly preferredQSR / food photography experience is an added bonusExperience with generative AI, web development and / or 3D modeling is a plus
