This is what you’ll do!

• You will drive a R.E.D. mobile office and food truck throughout your assigned service area. This involves loading and unloading equipment and food resources.
• You’ll provide comprehensive, multi-lingual application assistance to help eligible individuals enroll in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and other public assistance benefits such as CHIP, WIC, TANF, and more.
• You’ll educate applicants on how to successfully submit process-ready applications and supporting documents through YourTexasBenefits.com and mobile ap.
• You will collect the necessary data to document compliance with HHSC policies and processes and fulfill contractual requirements and deliverables. Attention to detail is key!
• You’ll facilitate neighbor referrals to other community support and respond to referrals received from other social service organizations.
• You’ll drive enrollment in SNAP and generate innovative ideas to raise awareness of services that support people in our community.
