Travel Pathologist Assistant – Pathology – Cambridge, MA

Shift : Evening (3 : 00 PM – 11 : 30 PM, Monday–Friday; flexible start 2 : 30–4 : 00 PM)

Hours : 40 hours / week

Experience / Certification Required :

NAACLS and ASCP certification required

Position Overview / Responsibilities :

Under the supervision of pathologists and management of the Anatomic Pathology Manager and Laboratory Director :

Examine, describe, and dissect all gross surgical specimens

Triage tissue for special studies as appropriate

Coordinate all Quality Assurance & Quality Control activities in the department

Prepare statistical reports and maintain logs, forms, and procedure manuals

Maintain consistent shift hours once schedule is established
