Director Career and Community Education

GENERAL JOB SUMMARY :

The Director Career and Community Education is responsible for the administration of open enrollment programs of the Continuing Education division and Career Pathway programs. This includes being a member of the divisions administrative team and providing leadership through effectively administering the development and delivery of educational programs to a variety of audiences. This individual works with team members to develop strategies and goals to meet and exceed department performance measures and benchmarks.

The typical work schedule for this position will be Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. There is a potential for required attendance of events / meetings outside of this standard schedule on an as needed basis.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES WITH / WITHOUT REASONABLE ACCOMMODATION :

Position involves working in an office setting. Occasional (10-33%) standing pushing pulling and grasping. Frequent (34-66%) reaching and viewing a computer and other types of close visual work. Constant (67-100%) sitting walking repetitive motion talking and hearing.
