Consultant- Pr / Marketing

Job Description

The Marketing Consultant, Advertising & Consumer Marketing assists with advertising and consumer marketing in the Marketing & Communications department. This position works closely with marketing team members to coordinate projects and tasks to meet set deadlines and communicate to all parties on progress. The Marketing Consultant, Advertising & Consumer Marketing will bring a spirit of constant learning and optimization to the work that the department does in support of the organizational goals.

Responsibilities

Paid Advertising & Consumer Marketing Support

Supports the development, execution and optimization of key marketing initiatives and advertising campaigns in support of UC Health's organizational growth goals. Responsibilities include :

• Supports paid advertising initiatives, including, but not limited to, brand campaign initiatives.
• Develops and maintains the paid advertising calendar.
• Tracks peer and aspirational institutions' paid advertising and messaging.
• Works with external agencies to establish and meet project goals, budgets and timelines.
• Identifies industry / consumer trends and incorporates innovative activations into the marketing plans.

Event Activations, Promotional Materials & Sponsorships

Serves as support for sponsorships as a channel for brand and service line promotion. Coordinates activations and the materials needed for them. Responsibilities include :

Project Management

Coordinates brand and integrated marketing projects and tasks to meet set deadlines and communicate to all parties on progress. Responsibilities include :

Project Reporting

Serves as a central resource for reporting on the status of marketing projects. Responsibilities include :

Vendor Coordination

Cultivates and coordinates relationships with freelancers, vendors and agency partners to ensure quality deliverables and support brand health. Responsibilities include :

Qualifications

While the position will work in a normal office environment, travel to the various hospitals and work locations will be necessary. Work hours will vary based on needs of the organization. Regular and predictable on-site attendance is required for this position.
