Sr. Project Manager - Telecom

This position is remote but must be one of the following states : Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Oklahoma, Texas, Tennessee, Virginia, Missouri.

Summary : The Service Provider Project Manager will oversee and manage telecommunications and / or voice communications projects from inception to completion. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of telecom and VoIP technologies and project management methodologies.

Responsibilities :

• Plan, execute, and finalize complex multi-site projects according to strict deadlines.
• Track milestones and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with management and stakeholders.
• Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
• Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
• Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
• Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
• Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
• Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
• Develop and deliver progress reports, requirements documentation, and presentations.
• Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas.
• Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
• Coach, mentor, motivate, and supervise project team members, contractors, and vendors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
• Build, develop, and grow contractor and vendor relationships vital to the success of the projects.
• Order, manage, and coordinate large-scale equipment orders.
