Step into a full-time paraprofessional or classroom support staff role focused on special education this fall and support students with special needs in real classroom settings. Join us as a SPED Behavior Technician (TA) and apply your specialized skills to empower students, helping them overcome behavioral obstacles and access their education more effectively within a supportive school framework.

Responsibilities :

  • Assisting the classroom teacher
  • Work with individual and (or) small groups of students to reinforce instructed material
  • Assist in compiling classroom communications
  • Maintain a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and a safe learning environment
  • Utilize a variety of learning methods to enhance the student learning experiences and support them as needed
  • Support with personal care or hygiene as needed, including toileting

    • Qualifications :

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working with children with Special Educational needs
  • Experience working with personal care
  • US Work Authorization. Zen Educate cannot provide sponsorship for an employment visa or relocation assistance at this time.
  • Applicants must have professional proficiency in English

    • Preferred Qualifications :

    Past work experience in a school

    CPI Training

    Compensation & Benefits

    Pay : $21 - $24 per hour, paid weekly.

    Schedule : Monday to Friday, within hours of 7 : 30 am - 3 : 00 / 4 : 30 pm (no weekend work).
