Cardiac Stepdown RN Job Details

Location : Winchester, Massachusetts 01890

Healthcare Setting : Cardiac Stepdown (A1 Cardiac Tele PCU)

Contract Length : 13-week travel nursing contract (Start : 12 / 15 / 2025 – End : 3 / 14 / 2026)

Nursing Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00pm – 7 : 30am)

Hours per Week : 36 (Guaranteed 72 hours biweekly)

Employment Type : Travel Registered Nurse

Estimated Weekly Salary : $2310 - $2470

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Massachusetts RN license required at time of submission

BLS certification from AHA required

EPIC EMR experience required

Minimum 2 years of recent experience in cardiac stepdown, cardiac telemetry, or related healthcare jobs

Ability to float to Medical-Surgical and Medical-Surgical Telemetry units as needed

Cardiac Stepdown Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care to cardiac stepdown patients

Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in cardiac patient conditions

Implement appropriate nursing interventions and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams

Accurately document patient care using EPIC EMR

Float to Medical-Surgical and Medical-Surgical Telemetry units as required

Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and clinical standards
