Metro is looking for a motivated and passionate Per Diem Occupational Therapist to join our expanding Homecare team in Nassau County! Come be a part of a growing organization in a progressive supportive and innovative environment!

Job Type : Per Diem

Pay : $65-$80 per visit

Locations : In and around Long Beach

Schedule : Flexible!

What Youll Be Doing :

• Provide 1 : 1 treatment
• Plan prepare and carry out individually designed programs of occupational treatment to maintain improve or restore physical functioning alleviate pain and prevent occupational dysfunction in patients.
• Custom Splint Fabrication for Patients
• Perform and document an initial exam evaluating the data to identify problems and determine a diagnosis prior to intervention.
• Develop and guide plans of care which encourage compliance and produce the best results for your patients.
• Evaluate effects of treatment at various stages and adjust treatments to achieve maximum benefit.
• Must be willing to treat all ages and have sensory integration experience
