Location : Remote (Must be based in Houston, TX – Onsite meetings in The Woodlands twice per year)

Schedule : Monday – Friday | 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM CT

Pay Rate : $28.00 – $30.00 / hr

Start Date : ASAP

Training : 1-week training provided

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented HCC Risk Adjustment Coder to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in risk adjustment coding , strong familiarity with ICD-9-CM and CPT-4 coding systems, and the ability to abstract clinical information from medical records with precision.

Requirements

CPC certification (required)

CRC certification (preferred)

Minimum 4–5 years of experience in Risk Adjustment (HCC) coding

Proficiency in ICD-9-CM and CPT-4 coding

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Able to work independently with minimal supervision

Must reside in the Houston, TX area

Availability to attend onsite meetings in The Woodlands twice a year
