Position Competencies :
The Assistant Director of Networking should demonstrate the following competencies :
Strong technical knowledge of enterprise networking, including LAN / WAN, wireless, cloud networking, firewalls, and security practices.
Proven experience with enterprise technologies such as Palo Alto (firewalls, security platforms), HPE networking, and SD-WAN, with the ability to integrate these into a resilient and scalable infrastructure.
Ability to establish and apply best practices for network architecture to create a secure, resilient, and scalable environment.
Strategic mindset to align network strategies with business and clinical objectives.
Ability to work effectively across IT and other departments to support cross-functional initiatives.
Expertise in managing network processes, identifying performance gaps, and implementing enhancements for operational efficiency.
Strong resource, budget, and timeline management skills.
Capacity to lead teams through organizational change and modernization efforts.
Experience optimizing the allocation of networking staff to meet both project and operational demands.
Skilled in collaborating with IT leadership, architects, and stakeholders to ensure networking priorities align with enterprise objectives.
