Position Overview : The Pipelayer is responsible for installing sanitary sewer, storm and water systems by accurately aligning, positioning, and connecting pipe structures according to project specifications.

Responsibilities :

• Install sanitary sewer, storm and water systems.
• Cut pipes to specified lengths according to project requirements.
• Assist with aligning pipes during pipeline construction.
• Verify slopes and grades using levels, lasers, or other measuring equipment.
• Connect pipe sections and seal joints using welding equipment, cement, or approved adhesives.
• Tap and drill holes in pipes to install auxiliary lines or devices.
• Cover pipes with soil or other approved materials.
• Grade and level trench bases using tamping machines and hand tools.
• Train crew members in proper pipe-laying techniques.
• Perform other general labor and construction-related duties as required.
