Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a reputable local company to find a skilled Building Maintenance Technician for a full-time, permanent role. This is a direct hire opportunity , meaning you will be hired on directly with our client company from day one—no temporary period.

Position Overview :

The Building Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving the facilities to ensure they are safe, functional, and in top condition. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver with a strong work ethic and a variety of maintenance skills.

Key Responsibilities :

Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc.)

Respond to and complete maintenance requests promptly and efficiently

Conduct minor repairs, painting, patching, and basic carpentry work

Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues

Maintain interior and exterior facilities, including lighting, fixtures, and landscaping as needed

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes

Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or projects

Qualifications :

Proven experience in building or facility maintenance preferred

Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry systems

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks

Physical capability to lift, bend, climb ladders, and perform hands-on repairs

High school diploma or equivalent required

Valid driver’s license preferred

Compensation & Benefits :

Pay : 50-55K
