Account Representative / Inside Sales Specialist – Menifee, CA

Position Overview :

AtWork is currently seeking a motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Account Representative / Inside Sales Specialist (National Accounts Customer Service Representative). This role is critical in supporting national accounts by managing incoming communications, providing accurate pricing and delivery information, processing orders, and coordinating with multiple departments to ensure seamless order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.

Pay Range :  $22–$25 per hour, depending on skills and experience

Schedule :  Monday–Friday, 6 : 00 AM–4 : 00 PM or 7 : 00 AM–4 : 30 PM (Start times negotiable)

Temp to Hire Role

Key Responsibilities :

  • Handle inbound, outbound, and follow-up calls regarding national account inquiries.
  • Provide accurate quotations, including price and delivery details.
  • Enter, edit, and allocate new and modified orders using CRT or a similar order entry system.
  • Expedite and monitor delivery schedules to ensure timely fulfillment.
  • Serve as a liaison across departments such as Sales Support, Product Marketing, Order Processing, Shipping, Material Planning, Quality Control, and Accounting.
  • Analyze and interpret order status and performance reports.
  • Process return material authorizations and resolve any order discrepancies.
  • Verify purchase orders and change orders for accuracy and completeness.
  • Create, update, and maintain charts and graphs for data reporting.
  • Stay up to date on corporate policies, agreements, procedures, and stock reserves.
  • Support the Inside Sales Manager on matters related to tariffs and pricing agreements.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

  • Previous experience in customer service, inside sales, or a related field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with CRT or other order processing systems is a plus.
  • Familiarity with corporate agreements and tariffs is preferred.
