Automation Engineer

We're looking for a capable, curious, and committed Automation Engineer to help us accelerate and mature our internal tools and client-facing automations. You'll be embedded in the heart of Sentinel Blue's engineering operations, building integrations across Microsoft 365, Azure, and MSP platforms like RMM, PSA, and compliance tooling. You'll work across the stack and the organization : scoping automation projects, writing code and scripts, integrating with APIs, diagramming your solutions, and pushing them into production.
This role is ideal for someone with automation experience who thrives on identifying friction points and eliminating them through elegant, secure, and documented automation.
This is a full-time position that is fully remote. Due to the nature of our work, you must be a U.S. citizen with eligibility for a clearance. No exceptions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure automations across Microsoft 365, Azure, and MSP toolsets
- Build and maintain integrations using RESTful APIs (Graph API, vendor APIs, etc.)
- Develop and maintain scripts and tools using PowerShell, Python, or Bash
- Plan automation projects from scoping through deliveryincluding testing, documentation, and rollout
- Diagram and document automation solutions for both technical peers and non-technical stakeholders
- Collaborate with security, support, and compliance teams to ensure automation aligns with security best practices
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to version-controlled repositories (Git / GitHub)
- Lead initiatives that improve efficiency, reduce manual work, and increase service quality across the business

U.S. citizenship3+ years of experience automating, scripting and / or programmingPreferred Qualifications :
