job_description.job_card.job_descriptionPerform MES programming and implement logic / steps within MES programs Monitor and troubleshoot MES systems, implement solutions for issues Support and configure MES-related devices (printers, scanners, PBL controllers, part labels, barcode scanners, etc.) Handle basic network troubleshooting Track and manage MES devices and configurations Provide IT support for integrated systems (e.g., JIS sequence system, Paintshop system, SAP, AIB, HMI) Liaise with operations to gather new MES requirements, convert them to technical specs, coordinate with MES vendors, review and test changes, plan rollouts, write documentation, and train end users Maintain ongoing communication with MES Lead and IT Manager on all project statuses Must be flexible and able to respond urgently to escalations Willingness to work after hours, weekends, and on-call rotations as needed Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, multitasking environment High attention to detail and documentation Self-motivated team player Eagerness to learn and apply technical knowledge Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Willingness to travel (local, national, and occasional international) Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience 7+ years of experience as an MES Engineer Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MSSQL Solid diagnostic skills for system alerts and issues Experience with Kepware and iDacs is highly preferred
