Medical Office Receptionist (Front Desk Associate)

Medical office is currently hiring a full time Front Desk Medical Office Receptionist. The office hours are from 8 : 30 a.m. until 5 : 30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Opportunities for pay increases based on performance. There are benefits offered after 90 days.

The small medical office is very busy and is in need of an additional Front Desk Associate to greet patients, verify insurance, coordinate appointment schedules and answer incoming calls from patients, hospital and other third party medical facilities, etc.

Requirements :

Basic computer skills

Well-spoken and able to communicate effectively in person and over the phone

Strong organizational skills

Outgoing with a very friendly and professional attitude

Individuals who have worked for a family physician, pediatrician, hospital or emergency room clinic as a receptionist or secretary are strongly encouraged to apply, however, not required. Recent college graduates with a certificate or degree in the medical field will also be considered. A background in dermatology, plastic surgery centers or similar will also be considered.
