We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to fill the position of Expert IT Cyber Security within our IT Cyber Security Operations team group based in Houston, Texas.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Conduct cyber security investigations that are triggered from security events and threats such as scans, man in the middle, sniffing, DoS, DDoS, etc attack activities and possible abnormal activities, such as worms, Trojans, viruses, etc.
  • Ability to perform cyber incident triage, containment / mitigation, scoping, hunting, collection, processing, analysis, remediations, and after-action reporting and documentation as part of threat monitoring, detection, and incident response.
  • Ability to analyze logs and other related data from varied systems to identify signs of a breach or security incident.
  • Operate security tooling including but not limited to a Security Information Event Management (SIEM) platform, Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) and Email Security.
  • Work closely with SIEM and EDR SMEs to improve monitoring and detection.
