Basketball Game Day Operator

What Youll Do

The Game Day Operator is responsible for setting up and managing all game day events for the Avenues Athletics program. Roles and responsibilities include (but are not limited to) :

• Setting up of all home games (in the Avenues gym) including team chairs scoreboard spectators areas music necessary signs and roped off areas; collaborating with the Equipment Manager as necessary
• Greeting opponents and directing them to their designated location
• Overseeing the score table and managing the score book and / or game clock
• Ensuring there is sufficient coverage and support at home games
• Updating Avenues Athletics social media throughout the game and posting final scores
• Collecting scores and submitting that information to the master score database

This is a part time and seasonal position that is paid at an hourly rate between $18.00-$20.00. The hourly rate will vary depending on your previous experiences and skills.
