About the Role

The Company is on the lookout for a Chief Underwriting Executive to spearhead a startup Managing General Agent (MGA) or Managing General Underwriter (MGU) in the dynamic commercial insurance sector. This pivotal role involves crafting and implementing the strategic vision for the MGA / MGU, which encompasses setting underwriting guidelines, establishing risk appetite, and defining growth targets.

The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with at least 10 years of experience in commercial insurance underwriting, focusing on property and casualty lines, with a successful history of launching and managing an MGA / MGU.
