Applications / Sales Engineer

Stabilus is a global leader in the production of gas springs and dampers on five continents. Fabreeka, a Stabilus company located in Stoughton, MA, brings nearly a century of experience providing vibration isolation and shock control solutions for customers worldwide.

Position Summary :

This position is responsible to provide technical support for all Fabreeka products by solving problems, trouble shooting and working with customers to guide them to the best possible product solutions for their vibration or shock application.

Duties and Responsibilities, including but not limited to :

Provide technical support via phone, email, and blog for customers and sales team
Demonstrate expert knowledge and problem-solving skills in providing technical support for our extensive product portfolio
Communicate with contractors, consultants and end users and help specify proper isolation product for their application.
Design, size and provide customized vibration and shock control solutions using Fabreeka products
Analyze vibration data and write vibration survey reports
Communicate with outside sales, inside sales, manufacturing and engineering as needed
Test existing or new products as needed.
Participate in trade shows and conferences as needed.
Travel to customer facilities to provide training or vibration surveys

Education, Training, Certifications :

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering field.

Experience :

Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting technical products and services.

Project Management experience preferred.

Vibration and shock experience preferred.

Required Skilled and Abilities

High level of computer literacy

Effective technical and organization skills

Strong desire to help people with their technical questions

Strong communication skills, both written & verbal

Strong commitment to team success

Experience working with customers, vendors and with other departments

Flexible to travel up to 20%

Working Conditions :

Normal office environment

Accountability :

Responsible to follow all Fabreeka procedures and technical guidelines as well as adhere to customer requirements.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.

This position requires the ability to occasionally lift products and supplies, up to 30 pounds.
