Community Manager
Karya Property Management is looking to hire an ambitious Community Manager to join our team in our Chaparral apartment complex! This is an apartment complex with 135 units. This is a full time position and compensation will range based on experience. The Community Manager is responsible for all aspects of the property that they are assigned to. This role must manage all on site staff and daily operations of their respective property including financial and operational goals, compliance of Karya policies, and promoting resident satisfaction. Responsibilities include : overseeing leasing activity, actively managing customer satisfaction, reviewing collections daily, monitoring all property work orders, managing the make ready schedule, auditing rent roll, submitting all necessary HR paperwork, and attending emergency calls. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, 3+ years' experience as a Community Manager at a multifamily property, knowledge of leasing, renewal, collecting rent, and property management, experience with CAM or CAPS, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with residents and team members. Physical requirements include prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and walking, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, climbing stairs, and reaching above shoulders. Must be able to type efficiently, lift up to 15 pounds, and work indoors / outdoors in extreme weather conditions. Must be able to work weekends and / or evenings on a rotating schedule.
