Role Overview

Nepsis is looking to add a part-time receptionist to our team that is dedicated to contributing to creating a welcoming environment, with top-tier service to our clients. The person in this role will be responsible for staffing the front desk and managing the incoming phone line. The receptionists will also be responsible for supporting team members to maintain shared spaces. The receptionist may be asked to support various initiatives across the firm. The person that will thrive in this role will be motivated by providing top-tier customer service and working as part of a team to cultivate a welcoming space.

Shifts for this role are expected to be 15 to 25 hours per week depending on the coverage needs, and due to the nature of the role, the receptionist is expected to be on site.

The receptionist is a non-exempt, hourly employee, with an expected hourly rate between $24.00 - $28.00 per hour depending on qualifications.

Responsibilities

  • Greet all guests and clients visiting our office following set procedures to create a welcoming and safe environment.
  • Answer and direct all phone calls coming into the main company phone line.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the lobby, conference rooms, printing stations, and kitchen, including completion of opening and closing procedures and regular maintenance on appliances.
  • Restock and track inventory for kitchen, coffee, and office supplies.
  • Distribute incoming mail and send outgoing mail.
  • Keep front desk resources up to date, including phone lists, procedure checklists, and other manuals and documents necessary for the front desk.
  • Coordinate meeting and event logistics when needed.
  • Complete any other projects and tasks as assigned.

Necessary Skills & Abilities

  • Proficient in MS Office applications and phone line management.
  • Superior communication skills with ability to effectively and professionally communicate across various mediums and diverse groups of people.
  • Excellent organizational skills, problem solving, and attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to maintain confidential information and meet compliance standards.
  • Able to manage competing priorities.
  • Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 or more years of customer service experience in a professional setting
  • Authorization to work in the United States on a permanent basis
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in business, hospitality, or another closely related field
  • 3 or more years of receptionist experience
  • Experience working in financial or professional services industries
  • Experience maintaining highly sensitive and confidential information
  • Experience in event planning or coordination
  • Working Environment & Physical Demands

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is in an office environment. The noise level in the work environment is typically quiet to moderate. Client and internal company information is highly confidential.

    The essential functions of the Receptionist role will require the employee to be able to communicate verbally with others. The employee will often be required to sit for extended periods of time and use a computer and other office equipment. The employee will occasionally be required to stand, move, reach, and lift up to 20 lbs.

    The pay range for this role is :

    24 - 28 USD per hour(Minneapolis)
