The Cybersecurity Analyst II role within the Information Technology Services (ITS) Department offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with certifications, academic training, or hands-on experience in cybersecurity or for seasoned IT professionals with a strong background in supporting security initiatives.
In this role, you'll join a skilled and collaborative team of Information Technology experts committed to protecting the county's digital infrastructure. You'll play a vital part in working alongside the Senior Cybersecurity Analyst to detect and investigate security incidents, analyze threats, and provide actionable recommendations to minimize risk, while also taking ownership of two critical platforms.
The ideal candidate is a well-rounded individual with a solid foundation in cybersecurity principles and a genuine passion for protecting digital environments. They bring a blend of technical expertise, analytical thinking, and personal drive that enables them to thrive in the fast-paced, ever-evolving world of cybersecurity. Our ideal candidate will have experience with any security framework, however, hands-on work with the Center for Internet Security (CIS) Controls is a plus. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

Any of the following certifications may substitute for one (1) year of required education. Two or more certifications may substitute for up to two (2) years of the education requirement
