We are currently looking to add to our team with an exciting opportunity as an Associate I – Cash Application and Accounts Receivable. As a cash application and account receivable associate, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate and timely cash application for both Agency Billed and Direct Billed accounts. Working closely with various internal departments and external stakeholders, you will contribute to the efficient management of cash application while maintaining strong relationships with our valued agency partners.

Responsibilities :

Consistently process cash application tasks promptly and accurately.

Reconcile cash to invoicing and proactively resolve outstanding discrepancies

Ability to evaluate situations and determine when items should be escalated to management

Contribute to Accounts Receivable reconciliation once the cash posting has been completed

Regularly seeks feedback from others with the ability to apply to current and future tasks

Consistently meets daily and weekly metrics

Collaborate with the bank and internal departments to address receipt-related inquiries and resolve any discrepancies.

Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency

Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices to ensure compliance with processing guidelines

Understands and adheres to Acrisure’s accounting best practices.

Qualifications :

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a high level of accuracy

Shows initiative to complete work without the prompting of others.

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

Education / Experience :

High School Diploma or equivalent, 1-year general accounting background required

Familiarity with insurance agency management systems and processes helpful

Sound knowledge of accounting principles and practices

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel

Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.
