Maintenance Technician

BHS Corrugated North America is seeking a Maintenance Technician skilled in mechanical and electrical machinery maintenancework to join our team in New Lenox Illinois .

BHS is the worlds largest provider of solutions for the corrugated industry. We are a privately-owned company headquartered out of Germany with more than 50 years in the corrugated industry. BHS has had a presence in North America for 25 years primarily focusing on sales and service of corrugated equipment.

The Job :

As a Maintenance Technician with BHS Corrugated you will be responsible for performing all mechanical and electrical preventative maintenance as well as corrective maintenance on BHS equipment at our customers addition to the mechanical and electrical work on the machine you will also be responsible for lubrication of equipment and basic troubleshooting. Additionally it is expected that you will gain a thorough understanding of the corrugated process as well as develop minimal corrugator operator skills.

Your role is crucial to the success of the BHS maintenance program in New Lenox as we are ensuring that our customer is able to have continuous use and production of the equipment that they purchased from BHS.

To fit in with us you will need to be a team player who is willing and able to work overtime on-call and weekends to ensure customer satisfaction.

The Experience :

Previous experience performing electrical and mechanical work is a must! Other areas of experience that we are seeking include : experience with PLC controls Siemens Allen Bradley and programming drives.

The Salary : $30-44hr

Salary is based on experience with many opportunities for overtime available.
