Salary : The Opportunity :
The Field Engineer is responsible for supporting the design, installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of water treatment systems in the field. The ideal candidate will work hands-on with equipment, support system commissioning, conduct routine site visits, and provide customer support to ensure optimal system performance. This is an excellent position for a recent engineering graduate to develop their skills in the ever-expanding water industry.
Key Job Responsibilities :
- Assist with the setup, installation, and commissioning of water treatment systems at client sites.
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on water treatment equipment and instrumentation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Monitor system performance, collect samples, and record operational data via our Virtual Visit remote operating system.
- Complete monthly reporting and documentation related to site activities, system performance, and maintenance records.
- Support and follow implementation of safe work practices, including adherence to OSHA standards and internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Follow and assist in improving existing safe work procedures while contributing to the improvement of field documentation and reporting structure.
- Demonstrate agility and a hands-on approach, with a willingness to work across fabrication, installation, commissioning, and ongoing operations as needed.
- Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams regarding system performance and service updates.
- Maintain accurate service records, work logs, and equipment checklists.
- Travel to various project sites as required (primarily within Florida and surrounding regions).
Qualifications, Education, and Skills :
BS Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical) Technical diploma or certification in Environmental Science, Water Treatment, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred.Experience is a plus, but willing to invest and develop the right candidate.Excellent mechanical aptitude a plus.Familiarity with pumps, valves, filtration systems, instrumentation, and control systems.Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.Water Treatment Operator Certification (or willingness to obtain).Knowledge of SCADA systems and remote monitoring tools is an asset.OSHA or other relevant safety certifications.Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.Proven ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environmentProficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant technical software.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying outdoor conditions.A valid driver's licence and US passport, and access to a vehicle.About Gemini Water LLC :
