Job Status : Full Time (40 hours / week)
Reports To : Operations Manager
Position Supervises : Site Coordinators and Assistant Site Coordinators
Work Schedule : 9 : 30 AM – 6 : 00 PM, Monday - Friday OR 6 : 30 AM - 5 : 00 PM Monday - Friday rotating days off.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Youth Program Success Coach plays a vital role in ensuring high-quality, safe, and engaging out-of-school time (OST) programming across multiple sites. This flexible, mobile position directly supervises Site Coordinators and Assistant Site Coordinators and supports all OST staff through coaching, mentoring, modeling best practices in youth engagement and behavior management, suggesting and facilitating program improvements, and being counted in daily staff-to-youth ratios as needed to maintain compliance and program quality.
This position will support staff providing afterschool programs in the following schools : Garfield Elementary, Hawthorne Elementary, Jane Addams Elementary, Lowell Elementary, and Whittier Middle School.

POSITIONS QUALIFICATIONS SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education : A high school diploma or GED is required. An associate’s degree or higher in education, social work, or related field is preferred.
Experience : Minimum of four years of experience working with youth of two years of experience plus a relevant associate’s degree or higher. Previous supervisory experience strongly preferred.
Skills : Demonstrated ability to coach and support staff in a positive, strengths-based manner. Strong understanding of child and adolescent development, trauma-informed care, and behavior management. Ability to work independently, travel between sites, and adapt to changing needs.
Licenses : Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
A. Ability to Stand, Walk, sit, manually manipulate, reach outward and above shoulders, speak, climb, crawl, squat, kneel, and bend on a daily basis
B. Capability to Lift, carry, push or pull up to 30 lbs on a daily basis
