We are looking for an Imaging Hardware Electrical Design Engineer to join our CTO team!
Responsibilities
Simulate and design complex analog / digital electronic circuits to meet low noise, high-speed (signal integrity) requirements of PCB or other substrates.
Architect and design high-speed, low-noise PCBs for image sensor readout and camera digital image acquisition.
Incorporate innovative FPGAs in circuit designs.
Bring up and debug PCBs and camera electronics.
Collaborate with other team members and other divisions to solve complex sensor and camera electronics challenges.
Qualifications
Experience in design and simulation of complex analog and digital electronic circuits.
Experience with high-speed, low-noise PCB design and CAD tools (schematics and layout).
Experience using analytical tools for simulating signal integrity and noise.
Experience with pioneering FPGA design and firmware programming.
Experience with designs using SerDes for high-speed communication.
Experience with circuit designs using ceramic substrates.
Hands-on laboratory experience in PCB bring up, debug, and characterization.
Preferable experience in software development for test setup automation and experimental data analysis
Previous experience with imaging sensors and camera systems highly desirable.
Good collaborator with strong interpersonal skills
The physical work location for this position can either be in Milpitas, California or Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Minimum Qualifications
PhD with at least five years' experience
