Electrical Preconstruction Engineer

Lemberg Electric is seeking an experienced Electrical Preconstruction Engineer to join our Construction team. In this role, you'll lead engineering and preconstruction efforts, develop project strategies, and help shape some of Southeastern Wisconsin's most recognized commercial, institutional, and industrial projects.

What You'll Do

• Lead engineering, design, VDC / BIM, and preconstruction activities.
• Develop conceptual designs, budgets, and cost models.
• Review scopes, schedules, and pricing with estimating.
• Ensure electrical designs meet NEC, IBC, NFPA, and industry standards.
• Improve processes, mentor staff, and support new technology adoption.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, architects, and engineers.
• Support business development and design-build opportunities.
• Oversee quality, safety, and compliance across all preconstruction workflows.

What We're Looking For

Preferred : PE license, design-build experience, large-project background, or advanced degree.
