CNA I / II - Medical Telemetry Behavioral Health

Join a compassionate healthcare team as a Certified Nursing Assistant I or II specializing in Medical Telemetry Behavioral Health. This full-time role involves providing essential patient care, observing and reporting any changes in patient conditions, and maintaining a clean and well-stocked patient unit.

Key Responsibilities : Perform basic patient care duties, assist with patient mobility including turning and lifting, and support the multidisciplinary team with various tasks. Maintain excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and demonstrate flexibility in work schedules and duties.

Work Environment : Expect frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting. The position requires visual and auditory acuity to monitor patients effectively. There is potential exposure to blood and body fluids, necessitating adherence to safety protocols.

Education and Certifications : Must hold current BLS certification from the American Heart Association and be listed on the Nursing Assistant Registry.

Experience and Skills : Basic computer skills and knowledge of age-specific patient care considerations are required. Ability to accept supervision and adapt to new skills and techniques is essential.
