General Assignment Reporter Job at NAB Leadership Foundation in Baltimore

WBFF-TV Fox 45 is looking for a take-charge General Assignment Reporter to help us continue to grow and empower our audiences! We are seeking a motivated, energetic, creative, and aggressive reporter who can think and perform outside the box. The ideal candidate should be able to develop story ideas, gather information for newscasts, have sound writing skills, a great work ethic, and a can-do attitude. The best person for this job will have excellent live shot skills and thrive on breaking stories.

Main responsibilities include :

• Create, shoot, write, and edit meaningful stories for the station's newscast that can be used across multiple platforms.
• Provide news on-air as directed by the news management team.
• Engage with local community members.
• Review material for fairness, accuracy, and balance.
• Work closely with all members of the news team, including producers, editors, anchors, and news directors.

Qualifications include :

The hourly compensation range is $29.67 to $37.09, with final compensation based on experience, skills, certifications, and location. Full-time positions include benefits such as retirement plans, bonuses, insurance, paid leave, holidays, and employee stock purchase plans.
