The role

We are looking for a motivated new colleague, with a passion for US Sports in particular and a strong focus on betting who can demonstrate critical thinking and has strong communication skills to join our competitive international team in the US Sports department.

The US Sports group and you will be responsible for compiling and trading odds for unique bet offers we will be creating for our multiple US operators. You will receive comprehensive training on our products and services as well as our different tools. You will be in daily contact with the different departments within Kambi to ensure having the best product available for our clients.

The position is full time and based in our Philadelphia office.

Main responsibilities

  • Compiling odds related to US Sports events (MLB, NFL, NBA, college sports & Fightsports) using mathematical models as well as relevant sports and market knowledge
  • Creating and compiling odds for unique offers that set our operator’s offers apart from the rest of the US sports betting market.
  • Analyzing and monitoring risk on different US Sports markets
  • Communicate effectively with the different departments within Kambi and its clients
  • Delivering the best user experience for customers

Requirements

  • Excellent knowledge of US Sports (MLB, NFL, NBA, college sports & Fightsports).
  • Strong numerical ability regarding probabilities and distributions
  • Ability to work accurately with great attention to detail
  • Must be fluent in English, written and spoken
  • High Microsoft Excel proficiency
  • Willingness to work on evenings and in weekends / bank holidays
  • Desirable

  • Experience from the betting industry, preferably within US Sports
  • A university degree, preferably in an analytical field such as mathematics or statistics
