The candidate will oversee and manage the lifecycle (from inception to completion) and operational aspects of projects, and liaises between project management and planning, project team, and cross functional management. The candidate will provide the support for establishing and overseeing the project Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) - must determine priorities, ensure risk mitigation activities are successfully managed, and establish and execute project milestones, review status of projects and budgets, manage schedules and prepare status reports and analysis such as critical path and variance analysis. The candidate will assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction goals and objectives. The candidate will regularly interact and interface with customers. The candidate will set strategy, vision and tactical direction and meet functional commitments including company expectations. This role is responsible for downward communication of top-level project goals, objectives and decisions, and upward communication of program performance to senior management. The candidate will manage large scale Operations Capital Appropriation Request as a recognized master within project management. As the project manager, candidate will own and develop project execution elements to ensure master phase schedule goals and milestones through the project lifecycle, will create operational plans to meet short to medium-term impact on portfolio execution improvement targets, will actively mitigation project execution risks before realized with the expectation that candidate share lessons learned to entire portfolio team, and will establish new concepts and practices for project execution.

What You Will Do :

• Ensure on-time execution of project through empowerment, communication, setting expectations, developing Integrated Project Team (IPT) leads and set-up of Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
• Provide leadership to cross-functional IPTs consisting of Operations, Engineering, Procurement, Finance, Facilities, Security, and Program Leadership, ensuring successful execution of all commitments.
• Coordinate meetings, report cadence and demonstrate leadership ensuring stakeholders engagement to complete their assigned tasks.
• Establish and maintain key project metrics, define milestone, critical path and monitor adherence to project budget and schedule.
• Cost Account Manager (CAM) for Project Management IPT and other IPTs, as needed.
• Monitor and control budget, Estimate at Complete (EAC) development, analysis, presentation and compliance to Capital financial reporting requirements.
• Lead Risk & Opportunity Management Board and develop mitigation plans.
• Lead root cause analyses into cost / schedule performance anomalies.
• Lead the collaboration necessary across functional groups, Raytheon Business Units and subcontractors to ensure project success.
• Ensure that functional resources, tools, and processes are utilized in a consistent way.
• Establish and maintain strong and purposeful relationship with customer, subcontractors and cross-functional teams.
• Expect up to 10% travel domestically

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education / training, and key skills. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and / or the company's performance.
