Nailor manufactures a unique and comprehensive line of products including Air Control & Distribution products, VAV Terminal Units, Green Building products, Fan Coil Units, Electric Duct Heaters, Sound Attenuators, Air Handling Units, and Filter Housings.

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized Operations Clerk to support a major project at our Mesa facility. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of shipping and logistical documentation, with a strong focus on preparing and processing Bills of Lading and other required shipping paperwork. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, advanced organizational and math capabilities, and the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, and process Bills of Lading and other shipping / logistical documentation accurately and efficiently.
  • Ensure all shipment paperwork is compliant with company policies, customer requirements, and regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate with production, logistics, shipping / receiving, and other internal teams to ensure timely and accurate information flow.
  • Maintain organized records of shipping documentation and support audits or reporting as needed.
  • Track shipments and proactively resolve any discrepancies or documentation issues.
  • Assist with inventory tracking, labeling, and documentation as needed to support project goals.
  • Perform data entry and document management in internal systems and software platforms.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts related to shipping and production documentation processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in documentation.
  • Strong math and analytical skills, with the ability to perform calculations related to weights, quantities, and shipping measurements.
  • Advanced organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in cross-functional team environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with ERP or shipping software is a plus.
  • Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven, high-volume logistics or production environment.
  • Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or production support preferred.
  • Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or relevant certification is a plus.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an operations, logistics, or production support role.
  • Work Environment

  • Position is based on-site at our Mesa facility.
  • May involve extended periods of computer and desk work, with occasional time on the production floor.
  • Standard business hours, with flexibility required during peak project periods.
