Director of Nursing

Position Summary :

RegalCare at Worcester is seeking an experienced and dedicated Director of Nursing to lead our clinical team. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic and hands-on nursing leader with a strong background in skilled nursing and long-term care management. This position oversees all aspects of nursing operations, ensuring quality care, regulatory compliance, and staff development.

Responsibilities :

Oversee daily clinical operations and nursing services throughout the facility.

Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and company regulations and standards.

Develop and implement policies, procedures, and quality assurance initiatives.

Manage, mentor, and support nursing staff to promote teamwork and professional growth.

Coordinate with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure the highest level of resident care.

Monitor infection control, documentation, and resident outcomes.

Participate in surveys, audits, and quality improvement activities.

Maintain appropriate staffing levels and oversee scheduling.

Qualifications :

Current RN license in the State of Massachusetts (required).

Minimum of 3–5 years of nursing leadership experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting.

Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations, including CMS and DPH standards.

Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Compassionate, resident-centered approach with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
