We are seeking a skilled Pathologist for a locum tenens position at a Laboratory / Diagnostic Center in Alabama. This 100-day assignment offers a Monday to Friday schedule from 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM, with no call or weekend duties, starting on date 06 / 23 / 2025. The ideal candidate will be board-certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, with subspecialty training in surgical pathology. Experience in gynecologic and non-gynecologic cytology is preferred, as well as fellowships in surgical pathology, cytology, or gastrointestinal pathology. The pathologist will work on-site in the hospital, handling a mix of small and large cases, including GYN, GI, GU, kidney, prostate, and bladder specimens. Responsibilities include performing frozen sections and occasional grossing, with support from lab assistants and occasional Pathology Assistants.
