Job Summary
Under general supervision, serves as part of the Operations Team to ensure premises of Social Services Division building, client common areas, bathrooms, and parking lots are in clean and orderly condition by performing the following duties.
Job Description
All candidates conditionally offered transfer, promotion or initial hiring into a DOT / safety-sensitive position shall submit to testing for drugs and alcohol and test negative before performing any job functions that are safety-sensitive or require a CDL. External job applicants with a confirmed positive drug or alcohol test result shall be denied employment and shall be required to wait one year before applying for another position within Tulsa County.
Essential Job Functions
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
Skill in use of various cleaning supplies and equipment.
Knowledge of institutional or industrial cleaning methods.
Ability to work in hot and humid surroundings and to be poised and tactful with others; read and write; to understand and follow oral and written instructions; to maintain the physical stamina necessary to perform manual labor; to work varied shifts; to understand and follow departmental policies and procedures.
Qualifications

Education and / or Experience : High School Diploma or GED and one-year full-time work experience; cleaning and maintenance experience in hospital or medical environment is a plus.
Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Valid Oklahoma Drivers License
