JOB OVERVIEW :

The Event Marketing Coordinator will play a key role in supporting both our events and marketing initiatives. This position is responsible for booking and servicing small events across our dining outlets and banquet spaces, ensuring exceptional guest experiences from planning through execution.

In addition, this role will actively support the marketing department with a variety of projects, including assisting with content creation and photo / video shoots, engaging with our social media community, monitoring and responding to online reviews, and handling administrative tasks that contribute to the success of the marketing team.

This is a dynamic, hands-on position ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a passion for events, hospitality, and marketing.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

Event Coordination & Sales

  • Book, coordinate, and service small-scale events in dining outlets and banquet spaces.
  • Communicate with clients to confirm event details, timelines, and special requests.
  • Collaborate with culinary and operations teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Prepare event orders and maintain accurate records of bookings.
  • Marketing Support

  • Assist with photo and video content shoots, including scheduling, setup, and coordination.
  • Support social media efforts by drafting captions, engaging with followers, and tracking engagement.
  • Monitor and respond to guest reviews across multiple platforms in a timely, professional manner.
  • Contribute creative ideas to campaigns, promotions, and brand initiatives.
  • Administrative Support

  • Maintain event and marketing calendars.
  • Provide administrative support such as preparing reports, updating databases, and processing invoices.
  • Coordinate communication between departments to support marketing initiatives and event execution.
  • Other Responsibilities

  • Stay up to date on hospitality and marketing trends to bring fresh ideas to the team.
  • Represent the brand with professionalism and enthusiasm at all times.

  • SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY

    Event & Hospitality Skills

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple events and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of event planning processes, including booking, client communication, and on-site coordination.
  • Ability to deliver outstanding guest service and resolve issues with professionalism.
  • Marketing & Digital Skills

  • Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn) and content best practices.
  • Basic knowledge of photography and video production support.
  • Experience with social media engagement tools and scheduling platforms (e.g., Hootsuite, Later, Sprout).
  • Strong written communication skills for drafting captions, event materials, and professional responses to reviews.
  • Administrative & Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or Google Workspace.
  • Experience with CRM systems or event booking software (preferred but not required).
  • Detail-oriented with strong record-keeping and reporting skills.
  • Knowledge & Attributes

  • Understanding of hospitality industry standards and guest expectations.
  • Awareness of current marketing and social media trends.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to contribute new ideas for promotions and content.
  • Flexible team player with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
  • Ability to work independently and manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

    Education :

    High school diploma required. College Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

    Experience :

    Hospitality or Event Coordination : 1–2 years of experience in event planning, catering sales, restaurant private dining, or hotel banquet operations.

    Marketing Support : 1-2 years xperience assisting with social media management, content creation, or digital marketing campaigns.

    Customer Service : Background in guest-facing roles such as restaurant, hotel, or customer service that demonstrates strong communication and problem-solving skills.

    Administrative Support : Experience handling scheduling, correspondence, and office tasks in a fast-paced environment.

    Preferred (but not required) : Exposure to hospitality software (event booking platforms, CRM systems) or social media scheduling / analytics tools.

    Schedule : The work schedule is based on the demands of the business you must be available days, nights, weekends, and / or holiday availability are required.

    Physical, Mental and Environmental & Technical Demands

    Fast paced environment, multiple tasks to be handled under time constraint. Must be able to bend, crouch, kneel, and twist in the work area. Must be able to maneuver around property. Must be able to sit, walk and stand for prolonged periods of time. Must be able to operate a computer, telephone, and copier. Must have manual dexterity to operate all office equipment.

    Grooming

    All employees must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance. Specific uniform guidelines and / or required articles of clothing will be explained to you as part of the orientation process.
