Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines, Docker, and DevOps principles. Experience with API security (OAuth, JWT). Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced Agile / SCRUM environment. Experience with POS systems, mobile applications, or customer-facing digital platforms. Exposure to large-scale enterprise environments. Background in mentoring and leading technical teams.
7-Eleven is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in Node.js, AWS, and DocumentDB to join its digital transformation initiatives. This role involves building scalable RESTful APIs, cloud-native applications, and backend systems that support customer-facing and internal digital products.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of RESTful APIs using Node.js and Fastify.
- Architect and implement cloud-native solutions using AWS services (Lambda, EC2, S3, Kinesis, CloudWatch).
- Manage and optimize NoSQL databases, especially Amazon DocumentDB and MongoDB.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, UX designers, and other engineers.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Conduct code reviews, write unit tests, and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Monitor application performance using tools like New Relic and AWS CloudWatch.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to architectural decisions.
