Responsibilities

Functional Consulting & Business Analysis :

  • Engage with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
  • Conduct workshops and stakeholder interviews to understand business processes.
  • Design and recommend ServiceNow solutions based on ITIL v4 best practices.
  • Prepare user stories, process flow diagrams, and functional specifications.
  • Act as a liaison between business and technical teams throughout the SDLC.
  • Conduct UAT sessions and manage user feedback to improve platform usability.

Development & Configuration :

  • Design and develop ServiceNow modules, especially ITSM (Incident, Problem, Change, Request) and ITAM (Hardware, Software, SAM, HAM).
  • Customize ServiceNow applications using JavaScript, Flow Designer, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and UI Actions.
  • Integrate ServiceNow with third-party tools using REST / SOAP APIs, MID Server, etc.
  • Create and maintain CMDB integrations and data normalization processes.
  • Perform system and application upgrades, including impact analysis and testing.
  • Leadership & Governance :

  • Mentor junior developers and analysts.
  • Establish and maintain configuration and development standards.
  • Collaborate with enterprise architecture and IT operations teams to ensure scalability and compliance.
  • Define KPIs and build dashboards using Performance Analytics and Reporting modules.
  • Required Qualifications :

  • 10+ years of overall experience in IT, with 7+ years in ServiceNow platforms.
  • Proven experience with ITSM and ITAM implementations.
  • Strong understanding of CMDB, Discovery, and asset lifecycle management.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages : JavaScript, Glide API, and AngularJS.
  • Experience with Agile / Scrum delivery methodologies.
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow best practices and platform governance.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Certified ServiceNow System Administrator.
  • Certified Implementation Specialist (ITSM, ITAM).
  • ITIL v4 Foundation certified.
  • Experience with SAM Pro, Hardware Asset Management, and Software Discovery.
  • Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps.
  • Soft Skills :

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams.
