Responsibilities
Functional Consulting & Business Analysis :
- Engage with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Conduct workshops and stakeholder interviews to understand business processes.
- Design and recommend ServiceNow solutions based on ITIL v4 best practices.
- Prepare user stories, process flow diagrams, and functional specifications.
- Act as a liaison between business and technical teams throughout the SDLC.
- Conduct UAT sessions and manage user feedback to improve platform usability.
Development & Configuration :
Design and develop ServiceNow modules, especially ITSM (Incident, Problem, Change, Request) and ITAM (Hardware, Software, SAM, HAM).Customize ServiceNow applications using JavaScript, Flow Designer, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and UI Actions.Integrate ServiceNow with third-party tools using REST / SOAP APIs, MID Server, etc.Create and maintain CMDB integrations and data normalization processes.Perform system and application upgrades, including impact analysis and testing.Leadership & Governance :
Mentor junior developers and analysts.Establish and maintain configuration and development standards.Collaborate with enterprise architecture and IT operations teams to ensure scalability and compliance.Define KPIs and build dashboards using Performance Analytics and Reporting modules.Required Qualifications :
10+ years of overall experience in IT, with 7+ years in ServiceNow platforms.Proven experience with ITSM and ITAM implementations.Strong understanding of CMDB, Discovery, and asset lifecycle management.Proficiency in scripting languages : JavaScript, Glide API, and AngularJS.Experience with Agile / Scrum delivery methodologies.Knowledge of ServiceNow best practices and platform governance.Preferred Qualifications :
Certified ServiceNow System Administrator.Certified Implementation Specialist (ITSM, ITAM).ITIL v4 Foundation certified.Experience with SAM Pro, Hardware Asset Management, and Software Discovery.Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps.Soft Skills :
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams.
