The Graphic Design & Communications Coordinator supports the marketing team through the creation of various marketing  tactics. Creation includes copywriting, design / layout, and publishing of marketing tactics.

The following is a general list of key job duties and responsibilities in your position. The list is not to be considered inclusive and you will be required to perform other duties / responsibilities as assigned by an authorized supervisor.

Deliverables most commonly include, but are not limited to : designing of direct mail pieces, flyers, emails, brochures, print ads, social media content (organic and paid), simple WordPress website updates, branded promotional items, etc. Maintain quality check on all pieces.

Collaborate with other employees.

Independently manage to-do giving priority to urgent projects.

Learn new platforms and skills as needed.

Other duties as assigned.

Essential Job Duties / Physical Requirements

Regular worksite attendance.

This is an on-site position that requires working out of our Topeka office.

Bachelor’s Degree in communications, graphic design, or a related field

Advanced Adobe Creative Suite skills – specifically Photoshop and InDesign

Experience with the following is preferred but not required : social media brand management, Meta Business Manager, Google Ads, Google Search Console, WordPress Websites, web-based email builders, CRM, Asana (online project manager), and ChatGPT.

Be a kind and engaged collaborator who is eager to learn about various industries and grow their skills

Advanced understanding of grammar with the ability to author original copy and edit existing copy

Intermediate level understanding of email creation, targeting and deployment.

Ability to take projects from concept to completion with minimal supervision.

Excellent time management skills.

Communicate effectively and professionally with customers, vendors and colleagues.

Be adaptable and flexible.

A broad portfolio which demonstrates expertise across a range of platforms. Must provide link to previous work.

If required to operate a motor vehicle for business purposes, must successfully complete the requirements contained in Company’s Motor Vehicles policy.

Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

Must be able to work beyond normal working hours and on weekends and holidays when necessary.

Must be able to perform the essential position functions of the job with, or without reasonable accommodation.
