Posting Number SP005032P Position Title Childcare Resource Specialist, IdahoSTARS Reg. 4 Division / College College of Education, Health & Human Sciences Department Center on Disabilities & Human Development Location Boise Posting Context Statement The Center on Disabilities and Human Development (CDHD) is an independent unit within the College of Education, Health and Human Sciences. The CDHD is supported through a federal infrastructure grant with numerous projects funded through sponsored accounts. The CDHD improves the lives of people with disabilities and their families by educating an interdisciplinary workforce, providing training and technical assistance within communities, conducting research, providing direct services and disseminating evidence-based information. Position Overview This position provides responsive and engaging support for childcare professionals related to state licensing, Idaho Child Care Program (ICCP) and business practices. This position works with other coaches in the regional offices as part of a multi-disciplinary team to support child care providers.
